I believe today's Homo Sapiens Sapiens are eating 350 calories less per day than what they were eating 150 years ago.  The number of calories consumed from 1,000,000 years ago to 150 years ago was probably fairly consisent.

So on the evolutionary time scale ... WE ARE STARVING !

Well, starving yourself more isn't going to work !

The reason why obesity is a problem is the lack of exercise.

eating 350 calories extra per day would cause you to gain 1 lb every 10 days or so.
