==================================

CS2008 supports the following video formats:

    * Video: AVI, MOV, SWF, FLV, RA, RAM, RPM, RV, MPG, MPEG, WMV, ASF, ASX, WM, WVX, WMX. This means we can upload content in these formats and the media player will do its best to play the content. Looks pretty comprehensive to me. This does include Flash (.FLV) which is the native recorded content for ooVoo captured videos. What I need now is a good Flash FLV editor. Any ideas.

    * Online Video: YouTube, MSN/SoapBox, Google Video, MySpace TV, Yahoo Video, Revver, Vimeo, Veoh, DailyMotion, ClipShack, Blip.tv, and Go Fish

To insert a YouTube video, copy the URL of the YouTube video page and use the "Insert Media" pop-up in the post editor (it has an icon that looks like movie film) -- paste the URL into the URL field of the insert media window and it will insert a code that will render the YouTube video.

BTW, if you are an ENT, one of our avid posters, Dr. Terry Ellis has an EMR that was originally used for his own ENT practice. It's very well priced and worth a look. it doesn't have a PMS, but just about any EMR can be interfaced easily through ODBC with Lytec or Medisoft (check out the recent thread on this at https://emrupdate.com/forums/thread/1962.aspx).

Cheers,
Al

re: emrupdate Newsletter Saturday August 19, 2006 by Al Borges, MD

I have recently looked at NueMD and Trans Med.
