Thank you. Here at Drchrono, we're always happy to see other developers push technology forward. While we offer similar products, we do have some differences. They have some features that we don't have and we offer features that they lack, such as Speech to Text, custom clinical forms and the ability to take photos and videos.

But the big difference isn't the features, it's how we approach the ehr market. Drchrono is a turnkey product that do not require potential users to request a free account. We encourage users to sign up on the website and use the free account, enough to allow you to run your entire practice. I don't know the exact amount, but Clear Practice charges doctors in the area of $500/month to use their EMR. Our full-featured plan is less than half of that. Including Medical Billing, which they do not offer, it's still less.

We also take a different approach on software. We have an active in-house development & design team that is constantly working to add features and we put out a new release roughly every 2 months. Nimble has not made any changes to their App since its initial release in 2010. We're very focused on creating a simple UI (something that's lacking in nearly every EHR) and add new features that take advantage of the iPad hardware. Right now, we're working on a patient on-boarding app that will be linked to the EHR along with other new additions.

Drchrono currently support US customers, but we have a number of international users that signed up through the iPad. We'll explore foreign markets eventually, but if an international user want to use Drchrono, they can, but with no eRx, speech-to-text or Medical Billing. We current have over 5000 users, with 90% of them joining in the last 5 months and we're expanding at a rapid pace.

Re: Drchrono EHR on the iPad is certified as a complete EHR

Congradulations Hong Li and your developers able to offer physicians another iPAD EMR choice. How is your system different than the Clear Practice Nimble/PM system? Is your support in USA? How many customers do you currently have?

Drchrono EHR on the iPad is certified as a complete EHR

I'm happy to announce that we've been ONC-ATCB certified as a Complete EHR.

http://onc-chpl.force.com/ehrcert/EHRProductDetail?id=a0X30000003lND3EAM&retURL=%2Fehrcert%2FEHRProductSearch&setting=Ambulatory

It was a lot of work for our development team, but we did it. We're now the only certified native EHR on the iPad. I posted screens shots here a while back.

Has anyone download it and tried it out. And what is your experience with it?
